Amazon Prime Day 2019 will be here before we know it. Will you be ready? You will if you stay close to this post.
Amazon Prime Day will likely start on Monday, July 15 — at least , but given that this “shopping holiday” has grown into a veritable summertime Black Friday-like season, Amazon has already cut prices on lots of devices, including Echo speakers, Fire tablets and Kindle e-readers.
For example, the full-size Echo hit an all-time low of $65 last week, though its price is now at $80.
It’ll probably be another week or two until Amazon officially announces the dates for Prime Day 2019. (Last year, it was announced on July 2.) But rest assured, the event will again offer sitewide discounts on par with Black Friday. Based on the past few years, here’s what we can expect:
Obviously we’ll keep you posted once we get more news about dates, deals and everything else. In the meantime, here’s everything we know.
What kind of deals should I expect?
Good ones — especially on the aforementioned Amazon gear, which will almost certainly match or even beat Black Friday pricing — to say nothing of Prime Day 2018 pricing. In fact, some devices are already on sale, including the Echo Dot for just $30.
For now, and for sake of comparison, here are some current prices and their Prime Day 2018 counterparts:

My guess is we’ll see similar Prime Day 2019 prices on most of these items, but maybe a few deals that are even better. Indeed, the Fire TV Cube was recently priced $20 less than it was last year, and as noted above, the full-size Echo smart speaker was recently priced at $65 — $5 below Prime Day 2018.
